Northern city leaders concerned about 'inefficient' duplicative fibre network roll-out

A group of more than 20 city and town leaders from the North of England have written to UK Chancellor Philip Hammond to warn that the region will be unable to exploit the economic benefits of fibre broadband unless fibre network builds are controlled and co-ordinated by Ofcom, reports The Sunday Times.
