Norway consumer body says govt too sanguine on broadband

Consumer council Forbrukerradet says the electronic communication plan recently published by the government downplays the challenges facing the public, regional newspaper Faedrelandsvennen reported on its website. Council director Finn Myrstad said the government calls competition in the broadband market 'good', even though only one in four homes has any choice of provider at 50 Mbps.
