Norway leads Nordic-Baltic region for fibre subscription penetration in 2019

Norway had the largest penetration of private fixed line broadband subscriptions in the Nordic region last year at 40 percent, Nkom said, citing the 'Nordic-Baltic Telecom Statistics 2019' report from the communication regulators of Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Figures are adjusted for national population size. The home fixed internet penetration rate for Denmark was 39 percent and for Sweden, it was 37 percent. All three countries raised their rates from 2018.
