Norway PT publishes 2013 annual report

Thursday 10 April 2014 | 09:57 CET | News
Norwegian telecommunications and postal regulator PT has issued its 2013 annual report. It said the volume of traditional letters sent continued to fall markedly while the volume of mobile internet traffic grew sharply. This trend has been clear for several years, but it accelerated in 2013, PT said. The watchdog said security and emergency preparations were more central to PT's work last year than ever before, as interest increases in ensuring that the electronic communications network can function under every circumstance. The mobile network priority scheme comes into effect in summer 2014.
