Norwegian dark fibre report warns of vulnerabilities

Norwegian electronic communications regulator Nkom has submitted its report on the market for dark fibre to Reynir Johannesson, the secretary of state for transport and communications. The report, 'Mapping and assessment of infrastructure for use by data centres', includes proposals to improve information on the sector, and said the few routes for telecoms traffic out of Norway make networks prone to natural disasters and criminal attacks.
