Norwegian govt announces coronavirus tracking app

The Norwegian government has announced the availability of a mobile application to track and prevent the spread of coronavirus. It was developed by state research institute Simula under commission from the Public Health Institute. People who download the Smittestopp app will receive a text message if they have been near someone else with the app who has tested positive for the virus.
