Norwegian govt to cut stake in Telenor to 34 percent

Wednesday 28 January 2015 | 13:15 CET | News
An agreement has been reached for the Norwegian government to reduce its stake in Telenor from 54 percent to 34 percent, according to an article on the website E24.no. The portal cited a joint statement from the liberal party Venstre, and the Christian Democrats, KrF. The government can now begin looking for a buying, said E24, or Telenor could merge with another operator. KrF said it is satisfied that Telenor's infrastructure will continue to be regulated by NKOM.
