Norwegian regulator forms Broadband Forum

The Norwegian Post and Telecommunications Authority (Nkom) has established a new forum for providers of fixed broadband services. The launch of the Broadband Forum will take place 20 January in Oslo with Undersecretary Reynir Johannesson from the Ministry of Transport and Nkom Director Torstein Olsen. Nkom said the Broadband Forum will be an arena for cooperation and discussion for providers of fixed broadband services in Norway, primarily on issues relating to wholesale products in the broadband market. The Broadband Forum is open to all providers of fixed broadband services in Norway
