Norwegian regulator publishes guidelines on public funding for wireless broadband

Norwegian communications regulator Nkom has published a report on requirements for state-supported wireless broadband access networks. It said they must be able to provide stable service at 30 Mbps for downloads and 5 Mbps for uploads, so that they can be used for voice and video conferencing. Nkom does not require such wireless networks to be able to support computer gaming.
