Norwegian revised budget provides NOK 50 mln more for broadband in 2019 as Telenor phases out copper

Norwegian communications regulator Nkom said parliament has approved a government proposal to provide an extra NOK 50 million for broadband expansion in its revised national budget for 2019. This is earmarked for homes with access to broadband below 30 Mbps for downloads, solely via Telenor's copper network.
