Nos given BBB rating, stable outlook at Fitch

Fitch issued a 'BBB' assessment note for Portuguese operator Nos, with a stable long-term outlook, due to its strong market position and consistent positive performance indicators, reports Jornal Economico. The rating agency points out that the operator has a "diversified revenue mix, solid growth and growth margin" and is one of the companies from the sector that most developed its cable and altnets operation in Europe. However, Fitch considers that there is a lack of clarity in the sector as to the timing and form of the allocation of 5G spectrum, but highlights the sector as competitive
