NRW expects EUR 100 mln from spectrum auction

North Rhine-Westphalia's economics minister Garrelt Duin expects the state will receive around EUR 100 million from the mobile frequency auctions in May, which will be used for the expansion of internet connections of 50 Mbps or higher, Golem.de reports. Around 70 percent of the land is already connected to fast broadband.
