NSN revenues down 26% in Q3, sees better Q4

Nokia Solutions and Networks reported a sharp fall in third-quarter sales following divestments and continued weak spending by mobile operators, but improved its operating margin thanks to cost reductions and higher gross margins. Revenues fell 26 percent year-on-year and 7 percent sequentially to EUR 2.592 billion. While LTE sales grew year-on-year after excluding currency effects, 2G and 3G revenues were lower, in part due to the company's exit of unprofitable markets. The operating margin rose to 6.4 percent from 5.2 a year earlier, helped by the ongoing restructuring programme. The
