
NSN to restructure Business Solutions division - report

Mobile network equipment maker Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) is set to part ways with Juergen Walter, head of its Business Solutions division, reports German magazine Manager-Magazin.de citing unnamed company insiders. The company is understood to be unhappy with the performance of the division, which will be restructured following his departure. Important business areas such as systems integration and consultancy will be integrated with the Global Services division. Meanwhile, talks to sell part of the company are progressing. JV partners Nokia and Siemens are understood to be negotiating with a consortium made of US private equity companies Blackstone and The Gores Group about the sale of a significant minority stake of at least 30 percent.
