Tele2 Sweden upgrades to LTE with Nokia Siemens Networks

Nokia Siemens Networks was contracted to upgrade Tele2 Sweden's network to LTE by deploying its Evolved Packet Core (EPC) LTE Core platform. With the integration of this platform into the Tele2 Sweden Core environment, the operator supports LTE, 3G and 2G mobile offerings for mobile data as well as traditional circuit switched voice telephony and IP telephony services. In addition to providing its EPC, Nokia Siemens Networks has deployed Subscriber Data Management and Subscriber Repository platforms based on the One-NDS solution, also including HSS (Home Subscriber Server) and EIR (Equipment
