NTT Docomo offers free year of Amazon Prime to customers on new plans

Japanese mobile carrier NTT Docomo will offer customers a free year of Amazon Prime from 1 December ahead of next spring's rollout of the 5G wireless service, according to the Nikkei citing Docomo president Kazuhiro Yoshizawa. Docomo's Amazon Prime deal will be available to nearly 10 million users. Docomo will cover the roughly JPY 4,900 (USD 45) annual cost of Amazon Prime membership for subscribers to new rate plans launched in June.
