Nuenen gets more FTTH service providers

OnsBrabantNet, after ten years as sole service provider in Nuenen, has now been joined by Vodafone Netherlands, TriNed, KPN, XS4ALL, Fieber and Helden van Nu, with immediate effect. Fieber and Helden van Nu are also supplying business packages. The arrival of the new providers coincides with the end of the free contract termination possibility at OnsBrabantNet. The KPN unit announted in May that it was introducing new rates from 1 July. Customers have until 1 July to end their contract, at no cost. The network in Nuenen is the oldest FTTH network in the Netherlands. It was built in 2004/2005
