NUJ proposes windfall tax on tech groups to support news media through Covid-19 crisis

The National Union of Journalists (NUJ) has called on the UK government to impose a windfall tax on technology giants to help fund a News Recovery Plan, designed to sustain the press and media through the Covid-19 pandemic.
