Numericable redirects new broadband customers to SFR

Thursday 9 July 2015 | 22:06 CET | News
French cable operator Numericable has started reselling the fixed-line plans of its SFR subsidiary, over FttLA, FttH and DSL. Echos du Net reports that Numericable has affixed the SFR logo next to its own and has replaced LaBox de Numericable pictures with those of La Box TV Fibre de SFR. When it comes time to choose a tariff during the subscription process on Numericable's website, customers are transferred to SFR's website instead. The report sees this as a move towards parent company Altice's wish to drop the Numericable brand altogether, while keeping SFR.
