Nvidia, Audi to release AI fleet by 2020

Friday 6 January 2017 | 10:06 CET | News
As an extension of their seven year partnership, Nvidia and Audi plan to release a model of advanced car by the start of 2020. Under the first phase of the project, the partners will further develop the Nvidia Drive PX platform, which uses AI neural networks including the Nvidia PilotNet to understand the surrounding environment. The Nvidia system is expected to anticipate a driver's needs, such as driving to the office in the morning, automatically closing the garage door and adjusting the climate to the individual driver's preferences.
