Nvidia hits expectations in stronger Q1, sees even better Q2

Nvidia reported lower results sequentially but in-line-with expectations and better than the year before. Year-on-year figures were helped by gaming and data centre operations, and the accelerating adoption of Nvidia GPU computing in general. The company expects revenues to go higher sequentially in the next quarter, helped by the completion of its Mellanox acquisition, closed on 27 April.
