Nvidia investing GBP 40 million in new UK supercomputer

US chipmaker Nvidia is investing around GBP 40 million (USD 51.7 million) to build the UK's most powerful supercomputer. Based at the company's AI Centre of Excellence in Cambridge and coming online by end-2020, the machine will help support healthcare research using AI, including Covid-19 research.
