O2 Germany announces Christmas smartphone offers

Telefonica Germany has launched a Christmas O2 promotion offering the HTC Desire X and Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 smartphones for half price. It is offering the HTC and Samsung devices for EUR 139.50, instead of EUR 279, to customers signing an O2 Blue Select contract or a higher-value O2 Blue tariff contract. The operator has also announced Christmas offers for pre-paid customers. It is cutting the cost of the Samsung Galaxy Ace for O2 Loop Smartphone users from EUR 155 to EUR 119.99, and the entry-level Samsung E1200 with O2 Loop from EUR 24.99 to EUR 19.99.
