O2 Underground WiFi service set for 22 July launch

O2 UK has confirmed to V3.co.uk that its free London Underground WiFi service will launch on 22 July. A company spokesperson said that it was testing the service to ensure that the service is fully operational at launch. It will be available free to all O2 WiFi registered users, using a network installed by wholesale partner Virgin Media.
