Octotel plans to expand fibre network beyond Cape Town from 2020

South African provider Octotel plans to expand its fibre network beyond Cape Town from 2020, MD Rob Gilmour told MyBroadband. Gilmour said Octotel has spent the last four years extending its FTTH and FTTB network to pass over 115,000 homes and businesses, and the time has come to start exploring opportunities beyond Cape Town. Gilmour said it is considering several options for the expansion.
