Oculus co-founder Luckey leaves Facebook

Friday 31 March 2017 | 09:18 CET | News
Palmer Luckey, the co-founder of Oculus, will be leaving Facebook, Recode reported, almost three years after selling his company to Facebook for over USD 2 billion, Recode added. Facebook confirmed the departure, though it is still unclear what the reasons for the departure are. The news follows the reorganisation at Oculus in December, the move from Brendan Iribe from his position as CEO for a product role, and the hiring of former Xiaomi executive Hugo Barra as head of the VR unit.
