OECD ministers urge countries to harness digital transition for sustainable development

The OECD Ministerial Council has called on all OECD member countries to continue working together to ensure that the benefits of digitalisation are more widely accessible, and contribute to the realisation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. In a statement issued at the close of a two-day ministerial council meeting presided by the Slovak Republic, members agreed that continued structural reforms, appropriate macroeconomic policies, open markets and effective international cooperation are vital to harnessing digital transition for sustainable development.
