Ofcom approves relaunch of BBC Three as broadcast TV channel

UK regulator Ofcom is consulting on a provisional decision to allow the BBC to relaunch BBT Three as a broadcast TV channel. In light of this decision, it is also consulting on proposals to change the EPG Code of Practice to ensure that BBC Three is placed within the first 24 slots of on-screen programme guides. Both consultations close on 14 October.
