Ofcom board names Verwaayen, Emmott as non-executive members

UK regulator Ofcom has appointed two new, non-executive members to its Board. Ben Verwaayen and Bill Emmott will take up their positions for a period of two years from January. Emmott will also take on the role of Chairman of Ofcom's Content Board. Verwaayen is a former CEO of BT. They are replacing Tim Gardam and Mike McTighe, who are stepping down from the Board having each served two terms.
