Ofcom calls for more action on affordable telecom services

UK telecom consumers are getting more for their money, according to the latest analysis of broadband and mobile prices by regulator Ofcom. However, its research on the affordability of services found some consumers are still struggling to pay for the required telecom services. The regulator said operators need to do more to introduce and promote special plans for low-income households.
