Ofcom consults on broadband Codes of Practice proposals

UK regulator Ofcom has published a range of proposals to update the existing Codes of Practice for broadband providers with a view to providing customers with more realistic speed information. Ofcom wants to improve broadband speed information at the point of sale and in contracts by ensuring providers provide a guaranteed minimum speed before sale and by highlighting the slower speeds customers can experience at peak times.
