Ofcom consults on Openreach duct, dark fibre access proposals

UK regulator Ofcom has published proposals to give companies laying fibre-optic cables greater access to Openreach's ducts and poles. These proposals have been published alongside a consultation on Ofcom's Business Connectivity Market Review (BCMR), which examines competition for dedicated, high-speed leased lines. Both consultations close 18 January 2019, with Ofcom aiming to publish its final conclusions in the spring.
