Ofcom consults on TalkTalk licence change request

Monday 2 May 2016 | 09:11 CET | News
UK regulator Ofcom has opened a public consultation until 31 May on its provisional proposal to grant a licence variation request submitted by TalkTalk in relation to its Concurrent Spectrum Access licence. The variation would facilitate the deployment of low-powered LTE devices currently available within the EU. TalkTalk is one of twelve licensees authorised to use the 3.3 MHz of shared spectrum in the 1800 MHz band, 1781.7-1785 MHz paired with 1876.7-1880 MHz, also known as 'the DECT Guardband'.
