Ofcom proposes protective measures for 24 GHz band

UK regulator Ofcom is asking for views on proposals to protect radio astronomy and Earth exploration satellite services operating in the 24 GHz band, once the 26 GHz band is opened up for 5G services. The scientific services could be susceptible to out-of-band emissions from the nearby 26 GHz band, so Ofcom has proposed protective measures.
