Ofcom publishes London mobile broadband report

Monday 6 June 2016 | 17:25 CET | News
UK regulator Ofcom has published a supplementary study to its Smartphone Cities report which examines the mobile broadband performance of the UK's four national mobile network operators (EE, O2, Three, Vodafone) in central London. The testing was conducted over five days in March 2016 and presents results for download speeds, web browsing times, upload speeds, YouTube streaming resolution and network response times. It measured mobile broadband performance for each of the MNOs on both Cat-4 and Cat-6 devices. EE registered the highest download and upload rates on both sets of devices.
