Ofcom to start mobile spectrum auction on 20 March

UK regulator Ofcom confirmed that the auction of new mobile spectrum will commence on 20 March. It is auctioning off 40 MHz of spectrum in the 2.3 GHz band for mobile operators to improve current services, as well as 150 MHz of spectrum in the 3.4 GHz band for future 5G mobile services.
