Oi and TIM receive approval for 4G network sharing deal

The Brazilian Administrative Council for Economic Defense (Cade) gave approval for an addition to an existing network-sharing agreement between Oi and TIM Brasil, according to the order published in the Official Gazette and reported by Reuters. The antitrust body said that the additional contract involves the use of 4G technology, adding that the Ran sharing aims to optimize the use of infrastructure and accelerate the development of the network.
