Oi bondholders may get rights in Sawaris' plan - report

Creditors and Egyptian billionaire Naguib Sawiris have proposed a rights issue as part of an alternative restructuring plan for Brazilian operator Oi, which would give certain bondholders better returns on their investments, reported Reuters. The rights would give the creditors the option of buying shares equal to 5 percent of the company's total capital after a capital injection, according to a document seen by the news agency.
