Oi and the Advocate General of the Union (AGU) are in the process of signing an agreement to renegotiate the Brazilian operator's administrative debts to the state, reports Valor Economico. According to an existing ordinance, large companies under judicial reorganization, such as Oi, can obtain a discount of up to 50 percent and installment payments over up to 84 months. The operator's debt with the federal government amounts to around BRL 13 billion, related mainly to fines imposed by Anatel since 2010.
