Oi sells Hispamar stake to Hispasat

Spanish satellite operator Hispasat has boosted its presence in Brazil by increasing its shareholding in subsidiary Hispamar Satelites to 100 percent. This follows the acquisition of 19.04 percent of Hispamar Satellites from Brazilian telecommunications operator Oi, after obtaining the necessary clearances from Brazilian public bodies.
