Oi shareholder wants snap EGM and new board members

Brazilian telecommunications operator Oi has said that a shareholder is seeking an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) and the recall of some of its board of directors. It said Societe Mondiale Fundo de Investimento em Acoes, represented by its manager Bridge Administradora de Recursos, with a 6.64 percent stake, wants an EGM within a period of eight days. The meeting should discuss Oi's current economic and financial position and decide on the dismissal of board members.
