One in four smartphone users over 65 cannot live without it

Smartphones are very popular among senior citizens in Germany, and 28 percent of those aged over 65 use an internet-enabled mobile phone, according to a recent Bitkom survey. It said 50 percent of respondents stated that smartphones facilitate everyday life. One in four even said that they cannot imagine a life without a smartphone, and 22 percent think that the smartphone brings them closer to other people.
