Only 1% of Dutch have VR device, but interest growing

Wednesday 13 April 2016 | 10:45 CET | News
Around 8 percent of Dutch consumers have already tried out a virtual reality device, but only 1 percent own one, according to research by the Telecompaper Consumer Panel in February. Among those who haven't yet tried VR, 30 percent said they are interested in doing so, and 14 percent of these said they would even buy a new mobile phone in order to be able to try out VR. Almost a third (31%) of people who have tried VR or want to said they would not go as far as acquiring a new phone for the experience. This could factor into their decision on a phone though.
