Only streaming revenues up at Disney in Q2, Disney+ reaches over 60 mln subscribers

Disney's direct-to-consumer and international division was the only area of growth at the company in the past quarter, as the Covid-19 pandemic hit revenues from its movies, TV advertising and theme parks. DTC&I recorded revenues up 2 percent to USD 3.97 billion in the June quarter, supported by growth at the streaming services Disney+ and Hulu, while total Disney revenues were down 42 percent year-on-year to USD 11.78 billion.
