Ooredoo Algeria plans to float 10-15% stake next year

Ooredoo Algeria, which is gradually changing its brand from Nedjma, plans a 10 to 15 percent flotation on the Algiers Bourse next year, CEO Joseph Ged announced on Maghreb Emergent's radio station, Radio M. "It is a way to share our success with our customers and the Algerian public in general, and we also want to make Algeria's financial market more dynamic," he explained. Qatar's Ooredoo (formerly Qtel) owns 80 percent of the mobile operator.
