Ooredoo Algeria revenue decreases 3% in H1

Ooredoo Algeria's revenues decreased by 3 percent to QAR 1.3 billion in the first half of 2019 compared with QAR 1.4 billion for the same period in 2018, hit by the depreciation of the Algerian Dinar. It said the telecom industry in Algeria remains characterised by intense price competition amid weak consumer confidence, political uncertainty and economic instability.
