Ooredoo Maldives donates intubation boxes to National Disaster Management Authority

Ooredoo Maldives has donated 50 intubation boxes to the National Disaster Management Authority of Maldives to support healthcare workers during the Covid-19 global pandemic. The transparent polycarbonate box was designed in Taiwan to separate nurses and doctors from patients to reduce the risk of contracting the virus while performing intubation. Virus particles can get aerosolised when the tube is inserted into the trachea.
