Ooredoo Myanmar revenue falls 11% in Q1

Thursday 29 April 2021 | 10:08 CET | News
Ooredoo Myanmar reported revenues of QAR 252 million in the first three months to 31 March, a decline of 11 percent compared with the same period in 2020 as restrictions hit data revenues, although this was partially offset by an increase in voice revenues. The company continued its cost optimisation strategy, which included improving data centre and energy consumption as well as contract renegotiations, supporting a 12 percent increase in EBITDA to QAR 56 million in Q1 compared with the same period in 2020.

I find your 'business as usual reporting on Mynamar somewhat callous given the inhumanity prevailing there right now. I could give a 'Tinker's Curse' about Oerdoo's revenues when people are being gunned down in the streets.
