Ooredoo shows off new 3G network

Algerian operator Nedjma Ooredoo has showed off its new 3G network at the opening of its new regional centre in Oran. The network showed speeds of up to 6.3 Mbps, Agence Ecofin reported. CEO Joseph Ged said speed on the network will average around 4 Mbps, and the operator has achieved as much as 29 Mbps on the network. He said the company is ready to launch 3G in all regions of the country and pledged customers with not pay more for the faster data service.
