Open Fiber brings gigabit FTTH to Lecco 'white areas'

Italian wholesale-only operator Open Fiber said it has completed work on fibre-optic rollouts in four underserved localities in the northern Lecco province. Over 6,000 residents in the rural "white" localities of Cremella, Dervio, Garbagnate Monastero and Vercurago can now access FTTH connections at download speeds of up to 10Gbps thanks to networks extending over 36 km in total.
